Hey there Curan,
I passed you out on HWY 34 yesterday near some huge stock yards, but pretty much in the middle of nowhere. I was on my drive back to Denver/Golden after doing some work (I fix medical equipment) up at the Holyoke and Wray hospitals and now realy wish I would have stopped to chat with you. Later down the road as I was still scratching my head about what I saw I called one of my friends and had him google bicycle backwards and now know the story. Anyhow, I would like to say I very much admire what you are doing and of course why you are doing. Which brings me to an offer for a place to crash once you are into Denver. I have a house on the far west side of town in Golden which is right at the start of the foothills. Very relaxed household full of motorcycle and bicycle nuts and of course a handfull of dogs. One of my roomates works as a clinical case manager downtown mostly with homeless people and I worked for 8 years as a counselor at a residential setting for troubled youth. I'm sure we would all have a ton of notes to share/compare... I've ridden 275 Miles Backwards since my last update... Once again... The Lord is Blessing Me... I did get a flat tire on my way to McCook, Nebraska and another flat once I crossed the city... Nebraska Wind is Tough... I want to Thank Kearney, Nebraska police for a escort across the city... I also want to Thank all Law Enforcement in Nebraska... You all were really 'Rad'... April 28, 2008 - Hello! America and GrindTv.com... The weather hasn't been to great the last few days... I did get out HIV/AIDS information at University Nebraska Lincoln... It was freezing, but it was well worth it... It was a Blessing... I want to Thank... Holiday Inn and the nice lady who made sure, I had brochures to get out the HIV/AIDS information... An American who cares about America... When, I left Lincoln, Nebraska on CornHusker Highway 6, I was rolling Backwards and my old school friend came out to Highway 6 to see if he would see me riding... It was Rad... We did a video clip for GrindTv.com and America... I was going to head Northeast... Wrong, I almost got it Backwards... So, I'm heading for the Wild West, were it's a little warmer right know... I left York, Nebraska today Backwards... I only rode 43 Miles to Grand Island on Highway 34... I also want to Thank the Sheriff for coming out to let me know, I was Raising Awareness... I will be riding Highway 30 all the way into Colorado... I have a very important meeting in Colorado... I have 150 Miles to try and knock out in 2 to 3 days... Backwards... By the time, I get Backwards to California to see my Family at Westside Common Ground HIV/AIDS Community Center... I will get a little rest and get ready to knockout all 50 States... I've got to Ride Backwards Across... California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Virginia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas(2), Nebraska... Still working on Colorado(2), Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Washington, Oregon, California(2), Maybe Hawaii and Alaska... Backwards at Night... That's Rad... Hello! America... and GrindTv.com... I'm now in Lincoln, Nebraska... Tommorrow, I will be getting out brochures at UNL University of Nebraska Lincoln... The Rumor is that HIV and AIDS isn't in Nebraska... Wrong... Let's not get anything Backwards... I assure you all in Nebraska and Across America... It's Alive and Well... But, again we "Forget" and "Force" these Sufferring American's to get Marijuana Illegally... Most American's go to Pharmacy and get their Medicine... However, I can't get the only Medicine, I get for my HIV to Eat, Sleep and Ease My Pain... I almost couldn't get brochures donated to get out the HIV/AIDS information... However, we can give these Politicians Millions for their Campaigns... I've been 5,600 Miles Backwards on a 20inch BMX Bike for the Homeless, HIV/AIDS and Medical Marijuana... The biggest sponsorship I've ever gotten was $150... I use all my disability money to try and save some lives before I leave America... Why do we all have to go Backwards??? Why don't we do anything to correct these issues??? Yes, their difficult... But, if we can fix our cars... We can fix these problems too... Were always in a Hurry or to Busy... These Politicians continue to focus on a fight against each other... Spending Millions... I will continue to focus on my fight for the Sufferring in America... God Bless America... My mother died of cancer and we lived in Florida with no medical marijauna, and I had to go to criminals in bad neighborhoods to get her the medicine she needed to be comfortable and stay alive. When Obama made the statement that Small Towns Across America are Bitter, Angry and Frustrated... Obama's statement was correct... As, I have Biked Backwards Across America... American's know America is going Backwards... They are Angry, Bitter and Frustrated that our Senate and Congress focuses on Baseball Players and B12 Shots and not the real problems in America... Since, I left on August 17, 2007 on AIDS Awareness Day... My HIV Virus has Increased... Also, I do plan to get checked for Cancer in a week or two as I'm crossing America... Backwards... I stayed in the tent under a bridge in the Cold, Wind and Rain in Minneapolis, Kansas and met some awesome American's... I also want to Thank a American Solider in Minneapolis, Kansas for the Rain Jacket and Pants... It worked Great... April 17, 2008 - I only got 8 Miles due to tough Winds and Rain... It was Cold, Windy and Raining two nights in a row... April 18, 2008 - I had Bad Winds against me today and had to hike 8 Miles... I'm very tired and didn't think I was going to make it into Concordia, Kansas... I was 10 Miles from Concordia and had to call for help, I ran out of Food and Water... I want to Thank... The Sherriff for getting me into Concordia, Kansas to get to Food and Water... I also want to Thank... Holiday Inn in Concordia, Kansas for a nights stay tonight... It was tough the last 2 days...
